An exciting opportunity has arisen with our client, for an Account Manager in Caerphilly, South Wales.
Overview:
Our client, an international and market leading company are looking for a confident individual with a great telephone manner. This person is responsible for managing existing accounts and also actively prospecting new potential customers (B2B). Pre-knowledge of the sector is not necessary. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self-motivated and professional person that can work independently.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
* Playing a fundamental role in achieving the company’s ambitious customer acquisition and revenue growth objectives.
* Being comfortable making dozens of daily calls, working with channel partners, generating interest, qualifying prospects, and closing sales.
* Sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up, outbound calls, and emails.
* Understanding customer needs and requirements.
* Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate Manager for further development and closure.
* Researching accounts, identifying key players, and generating interest.
* Maintaining and expanding your database of prospects within your assigned territory.
* Team with channel partners to build a pipeline and close deals.
* Performing effective online demos for prospects.
Requirements:
* Proven sales / account management experience.
* Strong phone presence and experience dialing dozens of calls per day.
* Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
* Experience working with Salesforce.com or a similar CRM.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong listening and presentation skills.
* Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
* Ability to attend trade shows when required with some overnight stays.
* Full driving license required.
