Spencer - Richardson are proud to represent our client in finding their new Senior Finance Analyst in a market leading construction firm.

We are looking for someone to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team to oversee the processing of asset purchasing, and take responsibility for reconciling the hire purchase/lease agreements. This varied position needs someone flexible, with an aptitude for numbers and accuracy who can also support across the business - working closely with the Financial Controller and Management Accountant, while also providing cover for the treasury and asset roles.
Key Responsibilities -
• Managing the asset business across the Group
• Managing the lease or HP process and monthly reconciliations
• Ad hoc Management Accounting and budgetary assistance
• Review VAT return and reconciliations
• Quarterly bad debt write offs
• PSA workings
• Payment practices reporting
• System sales reconciliation quarterly
• Invoice Financing rec. support
• Holiday cover Treasury role as well as the Asset Role
To Be Successful -
• Part Qualified / qualified by experience
• A wealth of experience of double entry accounting in the workplace
• Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel (V or Xlookups and Pivot tables)
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Knowing the importance of confidentiality
• Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• A proactive self-starter
• Previous asset management experience
• Experience of Dimensions
• Experience of Syrinx
