The Housekeeping team ensures every guest has an exceptional experience by maintaining impeccable cleanliness and presentation in guest rooms and public areas. With outstanding professionalism and attention to detail, they create a welcoming environment, leaving a lasting positive impression on resort visitors.
The hourly rate is £12.71, plus service charge.
About the role
This role is ideal for anyone with a background of working in a highly physical environment, e.g., Hospital Porter, Warehouse Operative, Manual Labourer, or a Stores Person / Stockroom Assistant.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Maintaining quality standards of linen
* Ensuring all used linen has been collected
* Ensuring all departments have the requested linen on a daily basis
* Checking that the corridors and service rooms are clean and tidy
* Keeping corridors free from linen, linen bags and linen skips
* Providing excellent customer service when in contact with guests around the resort
* Ensuring the equipment rooms are at the standard set out by the Housekeeping management team
* Refilling room condiments / room trollies at the end of the day
* Recording linen in / out of the rooms allocated
* Managing time effectively
* Keeping on top of the upkeep of the public areas throughout the resort
* Handling any relevant administration and handing it to the team leader on duty
* Attending all housekeeping team meetings
* Working weekends as required
