5. Confident in leading a team and providing supervision & support to staff
6. Knowledge of health & safety and writing risk assessments
7. Experience in managing and administering medication
8. Knowledge of CQC and how the inspection process influences our practice

Westview is a care centre that provides short term placements, assisting people to regain their independence and meet their aims and objectives. We offer short term support to those living with dementia and people requiring enablement or further care assessments to return to the community. We work closely with Occupational Therapists and Social Services Registered Practitioners.

We are looking for one person to join our team and help us to improve the outcomes for our service users.

By promoting independence and delivering person centred care, youll be making a real difference to peoples everyday lives.

We are able to offer you a comprehensive induction package. This will include mandatory training as well as access to multiple personal development courses. You will already hold an NVQ/Diploma Level 3 or equivalent. We can also offer this programme to the right candidate if not held upon commencing employment. You will have a rolling 4-week rota pattern that includes a mixture of morning and afternoon shifts, enabling a more flexible work-life relationship.

The annual starting salary for this post is £27,852 based on full time hours of 37 per week, with performance related progression up to £29,716. This post is for 22.375 hours per week so the salary will be adjusted on a pro rata basis. There are currently additional enhancements on top of the basic salary for weekend and Bank Holidays.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
