This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience within a Hospital Foundation Trust and develop your skills in a supportive environment. We are recruiting to our Intermediate Care Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. We are particularly keen to hear from candidates who are passionate about older people’s rehabilitation and committed to delivering high-quality, person-centred care. The service is predominantly in-patient based, though our therapy team also provides home-based rehabilitation, offering valuable variety and breadth of experience. All team members are allocated a named clinical supervisor and benefit from a structured in-service training programme tailored to each rotation, alongside weekly clinical reasoning sessions. You will also be supported by a wider multidisciplinary team, including static and rotational Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Therapy Assistants, and administrative staff. Advert To assist in the delivery of the physiotherapy service by taking personal responsibility for planning and prioritising own patient workload under the management of a more senior practitioner. All newly qualified practitioners are supported through the Preceptorship programme which helps successful applicants to bridge the gap from being a student to working in their first clinical role as an autonomous professional. There is opportunity for involvement in service development, audit and clinical governance and all staff takes part in the Trust’s appraisals programme. The services provide 7 day cover in some areas and the successful applicant must be prepared to work weekends and extended days. Summary of most important Experience/Skills/Qualifications required: Candidates must have a Physiotherapy Degree HCPC registration A clean British driving license and access to a car (reasonable adjustments will be considered).
