About the Role
This role sits within the Initial Contact Point (ICP) team, part of North East Lincolnshire’s Integrated Front Door (IFD). ICP Workers are pivotal at the very start of a child’s social care journey. You will be the first point of contact for members of the public or professionals who are worried about a child not currently open to Children’s Social Care or Family Help. The ICP Worker will use a strengths-based approach to take calls, ask the right questions, gather clear and concise information, and record this directly into Liquidlogic. You will assess whether the matter relates to Family Help or if there are safeguarding concerns. Where necessary, you will conduct multi-agency checks and analyse the information to determine the appropriate plan of support. If safeguarding concerns are identified, you will escalate appropriately to Social Workers and Practice Supervisors for comprehensive review.
