You will spearhead our UK brand presence, building on the existing playbook for activating the brand in existing markets while crafting the UK specific requirements. This role suits a brand marketer who is willing to strategically plan and define a longer-term vision but with agility to course-correct, fail-fast and move on with ease to adapt the brand for the local market. The ideal candidate is a beauty and makeup aficionado with an eye for new and trending. This role demands a high degree of collaboration with a variety of stakeholders.
Key Activities and Responsibilities
Activation Strategy + Planning
* Develop activation strategies to align with brand objectives and target audience for the UK market that disrupt and excite the beauty / cosmetics category.
* Create activation plans for product launches, events, and seasonal campaigns.
* Work with international market-teams to find shared objectives and in-market teams to ensure integration of activation initiatives.
* Own the end-to-end annual brand plan, collaborate with in-house and external agency partners to create compelling messaging and content with channel specific plans.
* Responsible for reviewing the product portfolio and innovation planning recommendations in conjunction with internal teams.
Campaign Execution
* Deliver the execution of our annual brand plans in line with objectives across internal and external teams.
* Deliver in-market partnerships to grow reach, engagement and cut-through.- Coordinate the execution of in-store and online promotional activities.
* Engage and excite partner retailer marketing teams to drive sell-through initiatives and maximise visibility in their media.
* Oversee campaign asset development, aligning to trends and codified brand best practises
Agency Management
* Manage relationships with external agencies, including PR, media, and creative teams.
* Brief agencies on brand objectives, campaign goals, and key deliverables.
* Ensure alignment between agency outputs and brand standards, monitoring agency performance and provide feedback for optimization.
Stakeholder management
* Liaise with internal teams (e.g., sales, creative) and external agencies to execute activation plans.
* Build strong relationships with retail partners and event vendors.
* Ensure alignment across all stakeholders for consistent brand messaging.
Performance Monitoring
* Track and report the performance of activation activities, including sales uplift and consumer engagement. Codifying the growth drivers to define best-practise and deliver repeatable results.
* Identify areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendations, shaping future plans.
* Align reporting with KPIs and ROI metrics.
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience (5+ years) in brand management, preferably in the beauty or lifestyle sector.
* A deep understanding of the UK beauty market, including consumer behaviour and key industry trends.
* Experience managing brands focused on a social/digital first modern marketing approach in the UK.
* Strong analytical skills with experience using social media analytics tools
* Creative thinker with exceptional communication and storytelling skills.
