Prospero Teaching are looking to appoint a dedicated Nursery Room Leader in one of our excellent, warm and welcoming nurseries in Southampton. The successful candidate will demonstrate the necessary knowledge and skills to lead a nursery room, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children and have a minimum of a Level 3 Early Years qualification.
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will:
1. Lead and manage the nursery room, ensuring high standards of care and education. Plan and implement engaging and age-appropriate activities. Monitor and assess children’s development, providing feedback to parents and carers. Support and mentor nursery staff, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:
4. Minimum of a Level 3 Early Years qualification. Proven experience working with young children in a childcare setting. Strong leadership and organisational skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A passion for early childhood education and a commitment to the development of young children.
