Professional Authorisations Manager – Belfast/Hybrid

Duties:
*Issuing practising certificates and firm authorisations for regulated services (statutory audit, AML, investment business, etc.)
*Maintaining statutory registers and overseeing the annual firm return process
*Handling member and firm enquiries on registration requirements
*Leading regulatory audits from oversight bodies such as IAASA and the FRC
*Managing a small, dedicated team with full people management duties
*Contributing to digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
Criteria:
*Qualified accountant (member of a recognised accountancy or supervisory body)
*5+ years post-qualification experience in practice, with audit experience at a managerial level
*Experience in a regulatory or compliance-focused role is a plus
*Strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and problem-solving ability
*Excellent people and communication skills
*A proactive, tech-savvy individual who thrives in a change-oriented environment
