Job Description
As a Rents and Service Charge Officer duties will include but are not limited to:
3. Manage the calculation and administration of rents and service charges.
4. Prepare monthly lease payment schedules
5. Calculating annual rent increases
6. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
7. Prepare and distribute accurate rent and service charge statements.
8. Collaborate with internal teams to resolve financial discrepancies.
9. Maintain and update accurate records of payments and adjustments.
10. Assist in budget preparation and forecasting for rents and service charges.
11. Provide detailed reports and analysis to support decision-making processes.
12. Respond to queries from tenants and stakeholders in a timely manner.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Rents and Service Charge Officer should have:
13. A background in Accounting & Finance or a related field.
14. Experience in managing rents and service charges.
15. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation and compliance requirements.
16. Excellent numerical and analytical skills.
17. Proficiency in using financial software and Microsoft Excel.
18. An ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
19. Strong communication skills to liaise with tenants and stakeholders.
