Community Mental Health Nurse (Ref: 221784)
* Substantive, Full Time – 37 hours per week
* Band 6 - Salary Range £41,608 - £50,702 per annum
* Plus Distant Islands Allowance of £2,482 per annum
* Relocation package of up to £8,000
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced mental health nurse to join our dynamic Community Mental Health Team. We seek registered nurses (RMN) with relevant experience in community settings, crisis teams, and ideally in rural areas. Postgraduate education would be advantageous.
The post holder will build on existing experience as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering evidence-based interventions to individuals requiring mental health support and treatment. They will have a sound understanding of current Mental Health policy and legislation. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing, implementing, and evaluating care plans in collaboration with the team and partner agencies.
The team provides scheduled and unscheduled care supporting patients needing immediate input. Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of multi-agency working are essential.
