Details of this position:
This is a full-time Career, Information Advice & Guidance (CIAG) Advisor role in prison education.
The role is based near York, in a new prison facility.
As a CIAG Advisor, you will support learners by providing information and advice, helping them prepare for employment opportunities.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Deliver tailored CIAG support to individual learners.
2. Promote job readiness and employment preparation.
3. Collaborate with employment hub partners.
4. Facilitate Routes to Learning (RoTL) placements.
Work schedule: Full time, 38.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £27,600 per annum
Annual leave: 30 days per year
Candidate requirements:
* IAG qualification at Level 4 or above
* AET Qualification at Level 3 (desirable)
* Experience in career guidance, ideally within criminal justice, education, or employability settings
* Exceptional communication, mentoring, and organizational skills
