Chappell Enterprises UK is recruiting on behalf of our client, a Premier League football club, seeking a proactive and skilled Groundsperson to join their esteemed grounds team.
About Our Client:

About the Role:
As a Groundsperson, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the training ground pitches to the highest standards. Working closely with the Head Groundsperson, you will ensure that the pitches are in optimal condition for the 1st team, B team, and Academy teams. Your expertise will contribute to the club's goal of delivering world-class training facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and prepare training ground pitches to a professional standard.
• Perform general maintenance operations, including divoting, repairing, and marking out pitches.
• Operate various machinery such as tractors and pedestrian equipment.
• Apply fertilisers and manage irrigation systems.
• Assist with mini renovations and pitch testing.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
Essential:
• Proven experience in pitch maintenance within a sporting environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in using grounds maintenance machinery.
• Attention to detail and excellent planning abilities.
• Ability to work weekends as required by the rota.
• A full Clean UK Driving Licence.
Desirable:
• NVQ L2 qualification in sports turf, greenkeeping, or groundsmanship.
• Experience working within a Premier League or elite sports environment.
• Competence with Microsoft Office packages.
