Red Snapper Recruitment are seeking a committed and proactive Outreach Domestic Abuse Practitioner to join our client. You will deliver high-quality, trauma-informed support services to women and children affected by all forms of domestic abuse, including Forced Marriage, Honour-Based Abuse, and FGM.The role involves casework, safety planning, and advocacy, as well as leading referrals into the community team and developing a range of accessible and culturally sensitive support pathways.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support, case management, and advocacy to survivors of domestic abuse.
* Carry out risk and needs assessments and develop Individual Support Plans.
* Build strong multi-agency partnerships and support external awareness/training sessions.
* Deliver drop-in sessions and outreach to engage hard-to-reach communities.
* Facilitate group support and workshops to empower service users.
* Support the delivery of community-based services, including liaising with volunteers and champions.
* Maintain accurate service user records, and contribute to monitoring and reporting systems.
Essential Skills and Experience
* Experience working with survivors of domestic abuse, particularly in BAME communities.
* Strong knowledge of safeguarding, housing, welfare, and legal issues related to DA.
* Experience delivering emotional and practical support, both in-person and remotely.
* Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills.
* Understanding of the intersectionality of race, gender, and immigration status in the context of abuse.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a flexible and supportive team.
Desirable
* Proficiency in community languages such as Urdu, Hindi, Punjabi, Bengali, Somali, or similar.
* Recognised qualifications in counselling, support work, or community development.
* Experience using databases such as OASIS.
* Full driving license and access to a vehicle (business insurance required).

* Willingness to attend relevant training and contribute to the development of inclusive services.
