We are currently seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to join a major commercial construction project based in London on a contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile development with a leading multidisciplinary consultancy, supporting the delivery phase and ensuring quality and compliance across site operations.
Role Responsibilities:
* Acting as the client’s representative on site
* Monitoring construction activities and ensuring works are delivered in line with design specifications
* Coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders
* Reviewing technical documentation and resolving site queries
* Carrying out inspections, reporting progress, and maintaining quality standards
* Supporting health & safety compliance across the project
Requirements:
* Proven experience working as a Resident Engineer on large commercial projects
* Strong understanding of construction processes and site coordination
* Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
* Excellent reporting and communication skills
* Relevant engineering qualification preferred
Contract Details:
* Location: London
* Rate: £50–£55 per hour
* Contract: Outside IR35
* Duration: 6–12 months
