Upholsterer - Outskirts of Thetford - 29-35k (DOE)
We are currently seeking an Upholsterer on behalf of our client based on the outskirts of Thetford! Our client are a family-run business that design, manufacture, and deliver exceptionally high-quality furniture!
Hours: Monday to Friday 09.00-17.30
Role responsibilities:
* Working on a variety of furniture types, including fixed seating and pieces requiring deep buttoning.
* Interpreting design specifications to produce quality upholstered products.
* Handling materials and components with care, ensuring accuracy and minimal waste.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, following health and safety guidelines.
* Working independently or as part of a team to meet production targets and client deadlines.
Experience Required:
* Proven experience in a similar upholstery role within a furniture manufacturing environment.
* Ability to upholster furniture pieces from start to finish with minimal supervision.
* High attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
* Good problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative.
* Able to work efficiently under pressure and to tight deadlines.
