We are looking for an experienced electrical engineer or Field Manager (with an electrical bias) to join our growing team. This role will oversee the day-to-day running of electrical contracts, ensuring safety, compliance, and high-quality delivery across projects.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage the day-to-day activities of engineers and contractors, ensuring projects are delivered on time and to agreed standards.
* Oversee all electrical contracts, including direct reports and subcontractor teams.
* Ensure completion and processing of electrical certification in line with Greenstorm, client, and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor production output across teams, resolving task-related issues and removing blockers to maintain efficiency.
* Manage resources effectively, including labour, materials, plant, and equipment, to ensure productive and cost-effective outcomes.
* Conduct site audits and compliance reports, ensuring all projects meet H&S requirements and site-specific conditions.
* Maintain and achieve NICEIC / NAPIT electrical compliance across all projects, including managing annual inspections.
What We're Looking for:
JIB Gold Card or equivalent NVQ Level 3 electrical qualifications
Minimum 5 years' experience in the electrical industry
C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent qualification)
Full UK driving licence
Experience with Solar PV installation and NICEIC compliance (desirable)
Familiarity with IT systems and digital reporting tools
