Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter & Decorator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction painting and possess excellent communication skills. This role involves working on various projects, ensuring high-quality finishes and client satisfaction.
Duties
* Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and filling holes as necessary.
* Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces using brushes, rollers, and spray equipment.
* Ensure that all work is completed to a high standard and in accordance with project specifications.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert advice on colour schemes and finishes.
* Maintain a clean and organised work environment, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
* Drive to various job sites as required, ensuring timely arrival and completion of tasks.
Skills
* Proven experience in construction painting is essential.
* Strong communication skills in English to effectively liaise with clients and team members.
* A valid driving licence is preferred for travel between job sites.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating initiative and reliability.
