Job Description
Tamayo Federal Solutions, LLC, a Department of Defense contractor, is hiring a Jr. Mechanical Engineer to support the customer by providing system administration services for physical and virtual hosted applications. The role involves ensuring the efficient operation of servers and supporting data center computing, storage, and networking capabilities at Government data centers and cloud environments.
We seek a Jr. Mechanical Engineer to join an energetic, results-driven team. Responsibilities include supporting data analysis and management.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Providing technical support in mechanical, electrical/electronic engineering, and naval architecture principles related to aircraft carrier systems, ship maintenance, and operations. This includes organizing data for evaluation and action.
* Supporting development and management of non-nuclear CMP, BAWPs, and modernization efforts during CVN availabilities, ensuring technical requirements and configurations are current.
* Collecting, managing, and analyzing data on systems or components and submitting findings for evaluation.
* Assisting in developing life-cycle strategies for aircraft carrier systems and components.
* Developing, maintaining, and reporting metrics as required.
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
* At least 3 years of professional engineering experience.
* Experience in data analytics, maintenance, and modernization related to aircraft carriers or naval ships.
Security Requirements:
* U.S. Citizenship.
* Active Secret Clearance.
