Job Summary: As an RMN (Registered Mental Health Nurse), you will provide high-quality, person-centred mental health care and support to private clients in their own homes or within private healthcare settings. Working through an agency, you will have flexibility in your shifts while ensuring the delivery of safe, compassionate, and professional nursing care tailored to individual needs. Key Responsibilities: Deliver direct mental health nursing care to clients in line with care plans and professional standards. Conduct thorough assessments of mental health needs and develop or adapt care plans accordingly. Administer medication safely and monitor side effects, in line with NMC and organisational guidelines. Support clients in managing symptoms, promoting independence, and maintaining overall wellbeing. Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, families, and other professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and reports. Respond appropriately to mental health crises or changes in client condition. Promote a safe and therapeutic environment, respecting the dignity, privacy, and rights of each client. Follow all safeguarding, confidentiality, and infection control policies. Essential Requirements: Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with current NMC registration. Minimum 612 months post-registration experience (preferably in mental health or community settings). Up-to-date PMVA/MAPA or equivalent de-escalation/restraint training (if required by role). Enhanced DBS clearance. Proof of right to work in the UK. Excellent communication, observation, and clinical assessment skills. Ability to work independently and adapt to different care settings. Desirable: Experience working with private clients or in domiciliary settings. Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
