Our client is a leading specialist insurance broker providing commercial and personal customers with a range of services to meet individual needs. This is a permanent full-time role, with an opportunity for career progression with generous commission and bonus schemes. The role involves dealing with new commercial and non-standard inquiries, managing client accounts and does not include cold calling. Duties and Responsibilities Insurance Specialist: Answering new commercial and non-standard insurance queries, via phone & email. Liaising between financial advisors and customers. Gathering related risk information & preparing quotes. No cold calling, all” hot” leads from customer enquiries. Managing your own customer accounts from start to renewal, including updating new insurance policies, mid-term changes to policy and queries. Communicating with insurers to acquire terms, develop relationships and ascertain premiums. Building new and overseeing existing connections with the introducing advisors from four key partners. Experience required: Experience in an administrative environment. Strong and confident communication skills. Confident telephone skills and an active listener; able to control the call in a professional and assertive manner. Excellent team player. Organised and highly motivated; can be responsible for own workload. Positive approach to dealing with new inquiries in a timely fashion, with a can-do attitude. Recognising and dealing with opportunities in a manner that always strives for success.
