Due to ongoing success and development, a world-class engineering organization based in Glasgow (Scotland), which is a global market leader in sectors such as Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation, and more, is actively seeking to hire 2 Senior Electronics Design Engineers on a permanent basis. This role is available due to additional work and investment in the Glasgow office and R&D roadmap. It is ideal for a Senior Electronics Design Engineer or a mid-level engineer looking for career progression and ready to demonstrate their motivation to advance to a senior position.
Work arrangement, relocation & sponsorship assistance:
3-4 days onsite, with the rest WFH. Relocation assistance & sponsorship are provided.
The salary range for this role is £40,000-£55,000 per annum.
Key Skills:
* 3-5+ years of industry experience
* Experience in the complete product design lifecycle from concept to production
* Board level design and mixed signal electronics experience
* Microcontroller, mixed analogue and digital circuit design experience
* Practical skills in Schematics Capture, PCB layout, and design tools like Altium
* Experience with network interfaces: SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
* Understanding of Design for Test (DFT) & Design for Manufacturing (DFM)
* Experience with product compliance & safety standards: EMC, LVD, CE Marking
* Debugging, simulation, and validation of electronic and system designs
* Technical documentation creation and maintenance
* Experience in an industrial environment
* Good communication and teamwork skills
Nice to have skills:
* Experience with PID controlled systems
* Embedded C programming
* Microcontrollers such as STM32, ARM Cortex processors
* Product lifecycle management (PLM) software
* Experience with Agile development, SAP, Oracle
* Experience with Toradex embedded modules
* Test equipment development for production support
* Mentoring and coaching junior engineers
