Mandatory trainer (Safeguarding specialism)

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mandatory Trainer, focusing on Level 3 Safeguarding Training for clinical colleagues across our Community Adult and Children's Services. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to step back into the sector in a part-time or flexible capacity while making a real difference.
Whether you're a retired or semi-retired health visitor, school nurse, social worker, or former care home manager, or have held a senior role in health or social care with substantial safeguarding responsibility, we'd love to hear from you.
The Learning Enterprise (TLE) is the learning and development department of HCRG Care Group and is an independent training provider delivering a range of learning interventions to a national external client base.
Base: Regional Office, hybrid working with regular national and regional travel as required.
Main duties of the job
What you'll do:
* Deliver engaging, up-to-date Level 3 safeguarding training aligned with current legislation and best practice.
* Draw on your real-world experience to support and inspire healthcare colleagues.
* Ensure training is practical, relevant, and tailored to community settings (adults and children).
* Act as a subject matter expert in safeguarding, supporting a culture of learning and vigilance.

Job responsibilities
As a Mandatory trainer (Safeguarding specialism), you'll be part of our valued team covering Bath and North East Somerset and Wiltshire areas (occasional national coverage to meet the needs of the service).

What we're looking for:
* Strong background in health or social care, with specific experience in safeguarding
* Previous registration as a nurse, midwife, social worker, or similar (current registration not essential)
* Confident in delivering training, with excellent communication and facilitation skills
* Empathy, professionalism, and a collaborative approach
