We are currently seeking enthusiastic and adaptable KS1 Supply Teachers to support our partner primary schools in Slough. Whether you're an experienced teacher looking for flexible work or an ECT/NQT aiming to gain more classroom experience, this is a great opportunity to teach across a variety of school settings in the local area.
As a KS1 Supply Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons, managing classroom behaviour, and ensuring pupils remain engaged and supported during your time with them.
About the Role
* Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons in accordance with the Key Stage 1 curriculum
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively while creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
* Adapt confidently to different school settings, following each school's policies and procedures to ensure continuity and a smooth learning experience for pupils
* Support the holistic development of young learners, promoting equal opportunities and ensuring the needs of all students are met
The ideal candidate
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Proven ability to maintain strong classroom management, particularly with young children
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, colleagues, and parents
* Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
