Who you'll be: The Financial Accountant will deliver on the following key roles and responsibilities: Maintain and update the IFRS16 database (Innervisions) on a monthly basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance. Post monthly IFRS 16 journals in all ledgers across the group Update IFRS16 monthly notes in statutory format Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations Key contact for the Group and any local audit teams, responsible for managing the overall process and ensuring all deadlines are met Assist in preparing and updating any technical accounting memos Assist with the preparation of audit documentation and responding to audit queries Statutory Accounts preparation: Preparing statutory accounts for trading, dormant, and international entities. Companies House Submission: Submit statutory accounts to Companies House across the group (UK). What you’ll do: To be successful in the role of Financial Accountant you will have the following skills and experience: ACA or ACCA, ideally with experience in professional services Experience with IFRS and UK GAAP statutory accounts Strong technical accounting knowledge Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and influence stakeholders Pro-active, systematic and process driven, with the ability to multi-task with ease This would be an ideal role for an practice trained accountant ready to step in house or looking for their next role in industry.
