We are currently recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing business. This is a hands-on Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer role suited to an engineer who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, supporting production through both reactive maintenance and planned preventative maintenance (PPM). As a Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery and site equipment. You will be responsible for: Responding to breakdowns in a timely manner to minimise downtime Carrying out both electrical and mechanical fault finding and repairs Completing planned preventative maintenance in line with schedules Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the site Working collaboratively with production teams to optimise performance Ensuring all work is completed in line with health & safety standards We are looking for a proactive and adaptable engineer with a strong multi-skilled background. The ideal candidate will have: A balance of electrical and mechanical experience Proven experience within a manufacturing or production environment Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills The ability to work effectively under pressure in reactive situations A positive attitude and willingness to support team objectives Qualifications such as NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Engineering (or equivalent) are desirable.
