We are seeking a talented and passionate Experienced Florist to join our creative team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in floristry who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment and takes pride in delivering exceptional floral designs and customer service. From hand-tied bouquets to bespoke arrangements for events and special occasions, this is a hands-on role that offers the opportunity to showcase your creativity and expertise while working with beautiful, fresh flowers every day.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
· Skilled in practical floristry, including the creation of hand-tied bouquets, arrangements, and bespoke floral designs
· Design and prepare floral arrangements for a variety of occasions, including weddings, funerals, corporate events, and special celebrations
· Assist customers in selecting suitable flowers and arrangements, offering expert advice tailored to their needs and preferences
· Deliver outstanding customer service, handling enquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive in-store experience
· Maintain a clean, organised, and professional work environment within the floristry department
· Complete customer orders accurately and efficiently, following direction from the Line Manager and meeting specified deadlines
· Support with product replenishment and visual merchandising, ensuring all items are well-presented, safely displayed, clearly priced, and aligned with brand standards
· Promoting sales through workshops and trade fairs.
Key Skills and Competencies:
· Flower knowledge is essential for this role
· NVQ Level 2
· 3 year's floristry experience
· Experience in wedding and Funeral Arrangements
· Able to work in a fast-paced working environment
· Excellent customer service skills
