Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee the daily operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality. You will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring food safety standards are met, and delivering an outstanding dining experience to our guests.
Duties
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen and service staff to ensure efficient operations.
* Ensuring adherence to food safety regulations.
* Manage team performance, providing guidance and support to enhance service quality.
* Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen and dining areas.
* Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner, striving for satisfaction.
* Assist in training new staff members on restaurant procedures and best practices.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
* Collaborate with management to develop menus that reflect current trends and customer preferences.
* Responsible for completing the monthly wage and generous fair gratuity schedule between all the staff.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a supervisory role within a restaurant or hospitality setting.
* Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and food production.
* Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
* Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in kitchen management.
* Previous experience in hospitality or barista roles is advantageous.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
