Job Title: Teacher of Art

Job Duties:
1. Plan, prepare and deliver engaging art lessons to students
2. Develop and implement art curriculum in line with educational standards
3. Assess and provide feedback on students' artistic progress
4. Encourage creativity and self-expression through various art mediums
5. Supervise and support students during practical art activities
6. Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall art education programme
Required Qualifications:
7. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) desirable
8. Degree in Art or relevant field
9. Strong knowledge of art history and different art techniques
10. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
11. Degree in Art or related field
12. Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) is desirable
Experience:
13. Previous experience teaching art at secondary school level
14. Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students in the subject
Knowledge and Skills:
15. Understanding of national curriculum requirements for art education
16. Proficiency in using various art mediums and techniques
17. Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Preferred Qualifications:
18. Additional training or certifications in art education
19. Experience with educational technology in art instruction
Working Conditions:
20. Work in a classroom setting within a secondary school environment
21. Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend work for school events
22. Interact with students, parents, and colleagues on a daily basis
