Duties of the MOT Technician
* Conduct MOT testing in strict compliance with DVSA regulations and standards
* Perform vehicle servicing and repairs, including fitting brakes, exhausts, and other mechanical components
* Execute fast fit tyre fitting, operate and understand alignment equipment
* Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards
* Maintain a professional and clean appearance, including wearing uniform as an MOT Technician
* Deliver excellent customer service, liaising effectively with clients
* Complete additional tasks as directed by management while adhering to safety protocols
Requirements of the MOT Technician
* Valid MOT Licence with current certification
* Proven experience in mechanical repairs, fast fit work, tyre fitting, brakes, exhausts, suspension, and general servicing
* Strong customer service skills and a professional attitude
* Full UK Driving Licence held for at least six months (considering age restrictions and driving offences)
* Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced environment, following all safety procedures
* Commitment to high standards of workmanship and safety
