Smith School, School of Geography and the Environment, South Parks Road, Oxford, OX1 3QY The Climate Research Forum (CRF), hosted within the Oxford Sustainable Law Programme at the University of Oxford’s Smith School for Enterprise and the Environment, is seeking an Administrator to support its interdisciplinary work at the intersection of climate science and law. Established in 2023, the CRF brings together climate scientists, legal experts, researchers, and practitioners from around the world to strengthen evidence-based climate governance and climate litigation, with a strong commitment to amplifying voices from regions most affected by climate change. This role provides administrative and coordination support across CRF activities, including membership, working groups, knowledge-sharing sessions, governance, and finance. Responsibilities include coordinating meetings and events, managing records and documentation, preparing agendas and minutes, drafting correspondence, and acting as a first point of contact for enquiries. The role also supports basic finance and grants administration, including invoicing, contracts, and monitoring reporting deadlines. The successful candidate will be organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities. Strong communication skills, good IT skills, and a collaborative approach are essential. An interest in climate change or interdisciplinary research is desirable. This role is offered on a part time basis (21.9 hours/60% FTE) and is fixed term until 31 December 2027.
