These individuals will be skilled at working alongside families in building on existing strengths and in helping families identify and address areas of challenge. In addition to practical tasking, including direct home care tasks, this role will also be about maximising future family potential and maintaining children safely at home in their family.

We are looking for individuals who can partner sensitively with families and are able to build meaningful relationships with families and other professionals to achieve better outcomes for children.

As part of transforming service delivery this post could involve working evenings or weekends, in line with the needs of the service. The post holders will require to be responsive to the needs of the service, and demonstrate flexibility in their ability to responding to changing need.

This is a time limited post (until March ) in line with the Scottish Government Whole Family Wellbeing Monies, with the potential for extension in future depending on the release of further funds.

As well as the relevant qualifications and experience, qualities we are looking for in the successful candidate are, a can do attitude, vision, passionate about supporting children and their families, energy, initiative, good communication skills and self-discipline.
