What you’ll be doing:
Working in an agile environment, you'll take charge early on, absorb new experiences, and positively influence our work—making an impact on our customers’ lives. You’ll utilize your skills where most needed and have opportunities to expand your expertise. You’ll join one of our tribes (home, motor, pet, travel, etc.) and focus on a key area of pricing within a squad.
Lead the delivery of pricing & underwriting outcomes within your domain (trading, optimisation, risk pricing, etc.) to help your squad achieve its goals.
Support decision-making aligned with commercial, customer, and strategic goals.
Enhance DLG’s pricing performance and long-term capabilities while maintaining discipline.
Use your technical and analytical skills to influence your team and the wider chapter, developing innovative solutions to challenging problems.
Engage with the broader Pricing & Underwriting community and influence objectives and priorities.
Support colleagues’ work and development, building overall squad capability.
Lead relevant pricing and chapter projects as needed.
What we are looking for:
Previous experience in an insurance pricing role, with the ability to adapt in a changing environment.
Technical expertise in areas like trading, modelling, optimisation, risk modelling, etc.
Proficiency with software/tools such as Radar, Emblem, SAS, SQL, Python.
Curiosity, collaboration, excellent communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to positively influence stakeholders.
