Working alongside a skilled multidisciplinary team, you'll help bridge the gap between mental and physical health, ensuring our patients receive the holistic support they deserve.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Support the physical health needs of inpatients within mental health units.
2. Conduct comprehensive health assessments and monitor physical health conditions.
3. Provide hands-on care, including minor procedures and vital sign monitoring.
4. Serve as a resource for ward-based staff, guiding and mentoring colleagues in physical health care practices.
5. Deliver hands-on physical healthcare, coach and empower ward staff, and lead education initiatives to improve services.
Candidate Requirements:
* Proactive and skilled nurse with a strong foundation in physical health assessment and treatment.
* Empathetic approach to patient interaction.
* Ability to handle medical emergencies calmly and effectively.
* Confidence to lead during simulations and real incidents.
* Excellent communication skills, clinical judgment, and commitment to high standards of patient care.
