The Opportunity
Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for helping children thrive? We are working in close partnership with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Farnworth that is currently seeking a dedicated HLTA to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a varied and impactful role where no two days are the same.
As an HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning across the curriculum. Working closely with class teachers and school leadership, you’ll help to plan and deliver engaging lessons, provide targeted support to pupils, and contribute to a warm, inclusive classroom environment where every child is encouraged to reach their full potential.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:
* Supporting teachers in the planning, delivery, and assessment of engaging and inclusive lessons across key stages
* Delivering tailored interventions and targeted learning support to individuals and small groups
* Leading whole-class sessions when required, in line with the HLTA standards
* Assisting with the development and preparation of learning materials and classroom resources
* Monitoring pupil progress and contributing to individual learning plans and assessments
* Promoting positive behaviour and fostering a safe and nurturing classroom environment

* HLTA status or equivalent experience in a primary education setting
* A positive, proactive approach and strong interpersonal skills
* Experience supporting children with varying needs, including SEND
* A genuine passion for education and helping children to succeed
* Strong organisational skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A flexible attitude and willingness to contribute to all areas of school life
