Are you a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner looking for your next full‑time opportunity? A welcoming Primary School in Kidderminster is seeking a dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join their Pre‑School provision from May until the end of the academic year.
This Nursery Practitioner role is based within the school’s Pre‑School, supporting children aged 3‑4 years at a crucial stage of their early development. You will work closely with the class teacher and Early Years team to provide a nurturing, engaging, and safe environment, helping children develop socially, emotionally, and academically through a mix of play‑based and structured activities.
The Primary school is looking for a warm, reliable, and proactive Nursery Practitioner with strong EYFS knowledge, previous experience working with young children, and a genuine passion for supporting early development.
Responsibilities
* Supporting children through play‑based and structured learning activities
* Assisting with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum
* Supporting children’s personal, social, and emotional development
* Encouraging communication, independence, and positive behaviour
* Supporting daily routines such as snack time, personal care, and outdoor learning
* Working closely with the class teacher and Early Years team
* Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment
Qualifications
* A relevant Early Years qualification
* Previous experience working within an Early Years or Pre‑School setting
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
* A good understanding of the EYFS framework
* The ability to work effectively as part of a team
* A reliable and professional attitude
