Veritas Education is recruiting a Level 3 qualified Room Leader for a brand-new nursery in the LS6 area of Leeds. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years practitioner who is ready to take the next step into a leadership role within a supportive and growing nursery environment.
As a Room Leader, you will lead a small team within your room, ensuring high-quality care and learning experiences for children while maintaining a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support practitioners within your room, promoting a positive team environment
Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework
Take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the room
Monitor children's learning and development, supporting staff with observations and assessments
Build strong relationships with parents and carers, sharing progress and updates
Ensure safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times
What We're Looking For
Level 3 Early Years qualification (essential)
Previous experience working in an early years setting
Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development
Leadership skills and the ability to support and guide a small team
A caring, positive, and proactive attitude
