About The Role
The Avara Foods Technical Placement Programme 2026–2027 is a 12‑month placement for Food Science/Technology students. You will work as a Technical Placement Student on our advanced processing site in Wednesbury, Monday to Friday 08:00–17:00.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Product Specifications Co‑ordinator & Production team with new and existing products (QAS & Specifications)
- Control and maintain the Quality Management System, including accurate document control and procedure revision
- Co‑ordinate GMP audits to ensure regular compliance assessment
- Submit lab sample data
- Plan, organise and communicate trials
- Coordinate sampling activities
- Complete technical information and project work
What We Are Looking For

- Currently pursuing a Food Science/Technology undergraduate degree, achieving a minimum of a 2:2 (preferably with a bias in food science)
