As a Radiology Assistant, you will:
1. Facilitate our high-quality ultrasound service ensuring a high level of patient care, respect and dignity.
2. Undertake appointment bookings.
3. Work closely with our Consultant Radiologists, Radiographers and Administration team.
4. Be involved with clinical audit and other administrative duties relating to your role.
5. Accurately input data into radiology software CRIS, patient management software PIMS to ensure correct billing of patients.
6. Provide a service of the highest quality, delivered with sensitivity and compassion.
As a Radiology Assistant, you will have:
7. Level 2 Qualification in Healthcare.
8. Experience within a work environment, preferably within a customer focused / people focused setting.
9. Basic IT skills.
10. A caring nature – to see each patient as an individual and carry out this role with understanding and empathy.
11. Willingness to undertake non-clinical tasks to ensure the safe and effective running of the Radiology department.
12. Work well within a close, supportive team. Willing to go the extra mile to ensure the patient has a positive experience.
13. Attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.

At Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital, we work with leading medical Consultants to provide first-class treatments and high standards of care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions using the latest facilities and technology. We take pride in delivering high standards of patient care to both private patients and the NHS. Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, three operating theatres and an endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy, health screening, diagnostics and a dental suite. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
