Civils team leader

The Lanes Group is looking for a Civils Team Leader to manage our increased workload to our growing network. Salary: Up to £16.50 per hour depending on experience Location: Sheffield Working Hours: 40 Hours per week What we offer: 21 days holiday bank holidays Life Assurance. Auto enrolment pension scheme. Full company PPE issued. Free onsite parking. Key Responsibilities You will have operational responsibility for the civils team and their in-day activities. Manage all other resources e.g. materials and plant for each job whilst consulting with the office Assist in coaching and developing staff to reach their potential and ensure a fair and consistent culture within the teams. Ensure all work is completed to Lanes Group standard and is defect free first time. Checking the quality of work and coaching teams/individuals to ensure the right behaviours are always exhibited. Cover all aspects of civils works. you will work in accordance with recognised Health & Safety Standards and the Company's Safe Working Procedures. About you Previous experience within deep excavations, sewer repairs etc Full UK driving license, with no more than 6 penalty points Training Certs completed for cpcs above & below 10 tonne with lift ops (preferable) HSG47, SSSTS, Streetworks Accreditation What we are looking for Whilst we are looking for the skills and knowledge to carry out the responsibilities of the role, it’s just as important to have employees with a positive and caring attitude and those who are looking to develop further and grow with the company.
