An opportunity has arisen for a talented and design-focused Part II Architectural Assistant to join a respected architecture studio based in Waterloo, London. The successful candidate will contribute to the delivery of a landmark hospitality project, a luxury hotel located on an island in the UAE.
This role is ideally suited to a Part II with strong experience in hospitality-led design, exceptional 3D visualisation skills, and a proactive, collaborative approach. A secured pipeline of exciting projects across the hospitality, commercial, and mixed-use sectors follows this commission, offering clear progression opportunities within a supportive team.

About the Role:
Based in the Waterloo studio, the Architectural Assistant will contribute to the design and coordination of high-quality architectural solutions. Working closely with senior team members and a multidisciplinary consultant team, they will support concept development, prepare design presentations, and assist with documentation across multiple project stages.
Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain design integrity from concept through to completion are essential. The role requires initiative, attention to detail, and confidence in working collaboratively within a team environment.
Key Requirements:
* RIBA Part II qualified
* Demonstrable experience on hospitality-led design projects (essential)
* Strong design and technical ability across RIBA stages
* Excellent 3D visualisation skills, particularly using Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Enscape, and Adobe Creative Suite
* Confident in communicating design ideas visually and verbally
* Capable of assisting with design development, technical drawing, and consultant coordination
* Organised, efficient and able to manage deadlines across multiple workstreams
* Proactive team player with strong attention to detail and a positive attitude
* Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations and construction processes
