Reflection > ensure that the Pod retrospect and learn from the past experiences Data Driven mindset > ensuring data is being used to drive effective improvements Motivation > energise and inspire the Pod members to keep delivering and improving Up-skilling > to ensure the strength / talent of the team is maximised Technical Leadership Leading Architecture design for items in alignment to Future State Architecture Ensuring that assigned work packages (EPIC, Story, Sub-Tasks) aligns with definition of ready and definition of done Ensuring high quality Testing Automation (e.g. Unit, Functional) in place at meets agreed level for delivered outputs Technical excellence > influence the pod to deliver technically excellent solutions DEVOPS > ensure pod is covering all release & support activities (e.g. monitoring, post release verification, rollback plan) System Performance > to ensure deliverables satisfy Non Functional requirements Industrialisation > to ensure robust solutions are being developed and tech debt reduced Innovation > to ensure that we are continually improving and benefitting from industry advancements Production Support Culture mentality of - "Production is King", "You break it, You fix it", "You build it, You own it" and "Collective Responsibility of Entire Platform" Ensuring POD takes assigned Production issues as top priority and diligently Ensuring POD members take part in the Production Support rota Collaborating with: Other pods > to ensure inter-dependencies are managed and team wide efficiencies achieved Cross functional leads > to ensure Analysis & Testing standards are followed Engineering Leads > to ensure technical consistency across the product Delivery Manager and Product Owners > to ensure timelines and priorities are clear Scrum Master and Delivery Manager > to ensure Agile processes / ceremonies are effective Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: Hands on experience working on Java 8 & above, Microservices stack like Springboot, Spring frameworks, ORM, REST API, Elastic stack Strong hands on experience in Microservices technologies on design and development. Hands on with technical design employing best principles and patterns as applicable such as microservices, event driven, enterprise integration or similar. Experience in automation tools and frameworks be it for QA or DevOps Behavioural Strong communication/interpersonal skills Effective people collaboration Lead by example Take complete ownership of agreed software service What additional skills will be good to have?
