Premier Relationship Manager - Berkhamsted and St.Albans
Join our Premier team and grow your portfolio by introducing existing and prospective clients to our Premier proposition. You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of mass affluent clients with a net worth of £250k to £750k, with opportunities to grow your customer portfolio and secure new business across a large patch with untapped potential.
You will support your customer portfolio through key life events such as investing for the future, saving for a new home, planning for retirement, or protecting your family. You will work closely with Wealth Managers, undertake proactive client contact, handle banking queries, and collaborate with branch colleagues to develop new client opportunities.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Deliver a consistent and tailored Relationship Management service to a portfolio of HSBC clients, providing banking services within your franchise.
* Act as a Brand Ambassador for HSBC, delivering an exceptional customer experience by identifying and fulfilling customer needs at first point of contact.
* Identify customer needs by leveraging franchise levels to ensure quality referrals and introductions to colleagues, while having meaningful conversations with customers to support their financial goals.
* Demonstrate autonomy and responsibility when managing customer welfare in conjunction with the Wealth Manager.
* Provide an outstanding customer experience to HSBC clients, achieving the relevant contact standards and improving client-facing time.
* Collaborate with your Wealth Manager to achieve common objectives and develop more meaningful customer relationships aligned to the customer’s channel of choice.
The Ideal Candidate For This Role Will Have
* Previous experience in a customer-facing role within financial services, particularly with affluent clients.
* Relationship-building experience, including cultivating trust and long-term client partnerships.
* Experience identifying wealth needs and referring to appropriate specialists.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills to establish solid client relationships.
* Track record of effective collaboration with internal teams to meet client needs.
* Comprehensive understanding of risk management and compliance with regulatory processes.
* Knowledge of financial planning and wealth products is advantageous but not essential.
This role is branch-based at Berkhamsted and St.Albans. It would be desirable to have access to a car to travel between branches, but is not essential if public transport is available.
