We are recruiting for Senior Conductor Managers! Multiple locations across Watford, Bletchley, Coventry, Wolverhampton and Crewe, with flexible start dates from June to October. You will ensure operational safety, contribute to improving train performance and to achieve revenue and customer satisfaction targets. The role involves leading and supporting Senior Conductors through coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing development, while ensuring effective communication of company objectives and performance targets. Key duties include managing resources, attendance, welfare, and compliance with safety standards, as well as investigating incidents and implementing preventative measures. The position also supports customer satisfaction, revenue protection, and cash handling processes, alongside maintaining audit regimes. Additional responsibilities include assisting with recruitment and training, contributing to projects such as new train introductions, and fulfilling on-call duties. Collaboration with other departments and engagement initiatives is essential to ensure operational efficiency and team success Key Responsibilities Provide leadership and support to Senior Conductors, including coaching and performance reviews. Monitor development, manage attendance and welfare, and ensure compliance with company policies. Communicate key objectives through team briefings and engagement initiatives. Investigate delays and incidents, implement preventative measures, and maintain safety standards. Support customer satisfaction, revenue protection, and cash handling compliance. Assist with recruitment, training, and contribute to projects such as new train introductions. Fulfil on-call responsibilities and collaborate with other departments for operational efficiency. Skills, Knowledge & Expertise Knowledge Thorough knowledge of rules and regulations relating to the working of trains Knowledge of Conductor terms and conditions Knowledge of LNWMR operations and geography Knowledge of safety and quality standards Knowledge of Ticketing and Retail Systems Skills Excellent Team Leader with the ability to motivate and coach team members Good communication skills (including written and oral) Self motivated and able to work on own initiative Ability to interpret data and technical information and explain what it means to others Confident when dealing with difficult situations.
