We are looking for a Office Administrator to join our team at Head Office. This role requires an organised and professional individual to manage front-of-house reception duties while supporting the additional functions within the organisation.
About the Role
As a Office Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while assisting with other office based processes. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Answering telephone calls, screening and directing them as necessary.
* Taking and relaying messages accurately and efficiently.
* Providing professional information to callers and visitors.
* Greeting and directing visitors to their appropriate destinations.
* Handling general queries from staff, service users, and the public.
* Receiving, sorting, and distributing mail and deliveries.
* Maintaining a tidy and welcoming reception area.
* Providing general administrative and clerical support, including photocopying and office equipment operation.
* Processing purchase orders from requisition to delivery, ensuring accuracy and timely placement with suppliers.
* Managing goods receipt at Head Office and coordinating returns or exchanges for defective items.
* Providing reception cover and additional administrative support as required.
About You
* To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Qualifications sufficient to perform the role.
* Experience using computer software, including Office 365.
* The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* A professional and welcoming approach to customer service.
