Can be based in Yorkshire or the Northeast The company Due to expansion within the business, an established UK insurance broker with offices in Leeds is seeking an Account Executive to join their growing team. The company has a significant book of SME and mid-marketclientsacross a wide range of sectors. Your role You will inherit a book of clients worth c.£50k income, with an expectation to achieve new business cases (through prospecting, generated leads, existing client referrals), as well as utilising your network and market knowledge to grow and maintain your book. This role would suit an insurance professional with exposure to commercial insurance products as well as experience in new business/sales. What you'll be doing Day-to-day, you'll identify and pursue new business opportunities, through your own prospecting, delivered leads and referrals. You'll manage the full client journey from introduction to renewal, supported by an experienced account handling team, you'll focus on building long-term client partnerships, negotiating competitive terms, maintaining compliance, and achieving realistic income targets. We're looking for The ideal candidate will have cross-class commercial insurance experience and excellent relationship-building skills. A sound understanding of the insurance market is essential. You should be tenacious and self-motivated. Industry qualifications (such as Cert CII) are desirable but not essential.
