The Role of the Mechanical Section Engineer is to manage maintenance operations through provision of a trained, competent and safe workforce, delivering reliable and compliant assets. To ensure that the department operates within agreed financial, operational, safety and environmental targets.

The Role of the Mechanical Section Engineer
1. Ensure all Statutory requirements for all plant, equipment are met in accordance with business KPIs for statutory inspections.
2. Determine and allocate the engineering resources and materials needed to satisfy the operational and engineering requirements of the plant. This must be achieved in line with the Company Asset Management Framework, utilising the relevant processes to optimise and improve the plants availability for production.
3. Devise and develop planned maintenance and inspection schedules and ensure that they are implemented to meet statutory, quality and engineering requirements.
4. Provide technical and engineering expertise to Production Management and Department Engineers.
