Contract Opportunity: Cloud Network Engineer
Remote-working
We're working with a global organisation seeking an experienced Cloud Network Engineer to design, implement, and automate enterprise-scale cloud networking solutions.
The Role:
You'll play a key role in delivering modern, cloud-native network architectures across multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP), driving automation, governance, and secure connectivity across complex global estates.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and deliver end-to-end cloud network architectures (VPCs, landing zones, segmentation, security)
2. Implement hybrid connectivity (e.g. AWS Direct Connect, VPN, DNS integration)
3. Build and enhance network automation using IaC, APIs, and CI/CD pipelines
4. Support Zero Trust and secure service edge architectures
5. Collaborate with global engineering teams and contribute to governance frameworks
6. Participate in onsite deployments, installations, and network cutovers
Skills/Experience required:
7. Strong experience in cloud networking (AWS preferred)
8. Proven background in network automation & DevOps (GitHub, CI/CD, IaC)
9. Expertise in network security, segmentation, and Zero Trust models
10. Solid understanding of routing, switching, and hybrid networking
11. Hands-on experience with field deployments and change execution
12. Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders
The following would be highly advantageous:
13. Experience with Zscaler (ZIA/ZPA)
14. Knowledge of AWS networking services (Transit Gateway, PrivateLink, Route 53, etc.)
15. Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, CISSP, or equivalent
