Overview
The Retail Sales Assistant will be required to engage with customers and other team members to provide exceptional customer service through enthusiasm and knowledge. You will be responsible for driving sales and providing high quality customer service by identifying our customer's needs and giving accurate advice for their requirements.
Responsibilities
* Providing exceptional customer service and experiences, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through enthusiasm, excellent sales service and product knowledge.
* Confidently engaging with customers and team members.
* Working as part of a team to maintain showroom stock levels and store appearance.
* Resolving customer queries following Company procedures in a professional manner.
* Generating new trade leads.
* Manual lifting when required.
* You must be able to work as part of a team and be flexible to cover store open hours, weekends and bank holidays.
Requirements
* Reliable with good time keeping skills.
* Warehouse or Yard work experience preferred but not essential.
* A current Forklift Truck licence is preferred but training to gain this licence, or to update Forklift training, can be given.
* Self-motivated and disciplined.
* Must be able to lift and move heavy items safely.
* Excellent communication skills.
* A professional and positive approach.
* Good team player.
* Attention to detail.
