Roles and Responsibilities
Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on growth. Your main duties include:
* Promoting our services, including asbestos surveys, consultancy, removal, air quality testing, water hygiene, training, and occupational hygiene solutions.
* Generating leads and securing new contracts in the North East and Central Scotland.
* Collaborating with departments to cross-sell services and maximize revenue.
* Building strong, lasting client relationships.
* Supporting marketing campaigns with insights.
* Managing your sales pipeline to meet and exceed targets.
Person Specification
We seek an ambitious individual with a passion for business development and a successful track record, especially in asbestos consultancy and water hygiene. The ideal candidate will have:
* Proven experience in business development within relevant industries.
* Excellent communication skills for engaging clients at all levels.
* A proactive approach to sales and lead generation.
* Proficiency in MS Office.
* A valid driving license.
What We Can Offer You
* Salary up to £37,000, with on-target earnings starting at £52,000.
* Benefits including a company vehicle or allowance, healthcare, pension, sick pay, and staff referral incentives.
* Holidays starting at 22 days, rising to 25 and 27, plus bank holidays and a paid birthday off.
* Hybrid working with a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday.
